The Queensberry Estate at Thornhill, Dumfriesshire, offers first class, exclusive fishing opportunities for Sea Trout and Salmon on the mighty River Nith to the end of November.  Drumlanrig Castle Fishings offers 4 beats across 7 miles of prime fly fishing.

At Langholm, in the picturesque and historical borderlands of Dumfriesshire and Roxburghshire, lie the beautiful Border Esk and Liddle Rivers.  Traditionally famed for Sea Trout, they currently enjoy a good run of late summer and autumn Salmon.

Our Bowhill Estate, near Selkirk in the Scottish Borders, is home to the Rivers Ettrick and Yarrow, the tributary waters of the renowned River Tweed.   These boast an unbeatable excellence for Salmon and Sea Trout.

Our Queensberry Estate boasts some of the most beautiful Trout lochs in Scotland.  These seven lochs, set amongst the breathtaking Nithsdale landscape, offer our fisherman perfect, secluded locations for Rainbow and Brown Trout.  Each loch has its own attractive, unique environment giving excellent choice to suit every preference.

Bowhill Estate currently offers loch fishing for Rainbow and Brown Trout in the Lower Loch providing an ideal, tranquil location for a great day's sport in the shadow of the magnificent Bowhill House.

Queensberry is the only one of the Buccleuch Estates to offer Coarse Fishing at the present time.  Dabton Loch and Morton Pond, are ever-popular for those wishing to try their hand for Tench providing, once again, beautiful locations easily accessible from Thornhill to the south of the Estate.
