Bowhill Estate

Bowhill Estate

There are two Trout lochs at Bowhill, although currently only the Lower Loch is offered for fishing.  The beautiful Lower Loch is located within the parkland below both the magnificent Bowhill House and the Upper Loch.  It is stocked with quality Rainbow Trout, reared locally, and also has wild Brown Trout.  It is one of the most scenic fishing lochs in the area providing a peaceful and highly enjoyable fishing experience, by boat only .  The Upper Loch is not available for let at the present time but it is hoped that, after improvements, it will be brought back in hand.  To make a booking: www.fishtweed.co.uk.
